I had my Final Portfolio Review.

Dun dun DUNNNN!

Last. I went last in my group. Two days of waiting and wondering and stressing.

They told us that they like to save the last review of the day for a strong book, sort of end on a good note and such...So....

It was *amazing*.

Annoyingly, I do not know my score. They score like a test...75%, 92%, etc. The three panelists score you, and then the scores are averaged. You need at least a 75% to pass.

I do know that Kevin Downey scored me "well above average" because he said so.

I was told that "this doesn't look like student work." I was totally glowing. They said my book looked professional. They said they saw a very distinct style. They had *hardly anything negative to say* about *any* of my prints. Almost all good, glowing superlatives, smiles and handshakes.

They laughed in the right places. It's nice to see the humor I try to put into pictures actually getting across to strangers.

Bobbi Lane waked over to my picture of JohnnyP and the puppy, pointed and said "I've been *waiting* to find out who took this one.I love it. This is great..." (It had been hanging in one of the hallways at school. We covered the walls for open house, and out of roughly 600 pictures, she remembered mine!)

Seriously guys, I was on the verge of tears... Life has been so crazy and stressful, and my emotions have been all over the map...still are, really...family stuff, personal life, worry about getting work after graduation... After my review I just wanted to hug everybody.

So. Yes. Life is big.

Who wants to give me a job?
