Now, nobody said the pet actually had to *belong* to the person... My friend Hans had just gotten this tiny chihuahua puppy, and I thought...wouldn't it be cute to photograph him with some big burly guy? Cue JohnnyP, who's big and burly and hairy and tattooed and bald...but a total teddybear. He got up quite early for me, with good humor, and laughed his way through the whole session. Seriously, one of the easiest models I've ever worked with. Fun too. So here are 4 from the series. There are a *ton* that I love, and I'm still messing with them and trying to decide which to submit. Hope you enjoy.
If you submit anything, I think you should do this one (and/or JohnnyP with puppy 4). This one because it seems almost natural (less "posed" than 2&3), and like the puppy is trying to hide from the camera, kind of like a little kid, and Johnny is trying to reassure it.
#4 also deserves it because Johnny is sort of hamming things up a little in a "Me in all my hairy glory" kind of way, and the puppy is sitting there with this "Ya. I'm with him" look on it's face.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
